SWEETWATER FIELDS

HISTORY:

Spoiler

Sweetwater Fields is a small farm located just north of Saint Denis. It had been the property of the Saunier family for generations, going back as far as the very first French settlers that braved the New World. At its height, Sweetwater was a mighty plantation spanning much and more of Saint Denis' north. The family didn't maintain their lands however, and over the years acres were sold to fund more urban pursuits within Saint Denis itself.

Up until recently the land of Sweetwater Fields was maintained by Hugo Saunier, an eccentric if not reclusive man. He died leaving behind no beneficiary save for his favorite nephew, Raphael.

Now Raphael Saunier has taken his wife Henrietta from her native Philadelphia back to the southern beauty of Tahoma in which he was born to claim his inheritance. Despite him promising a wealthy estate and talking up his family's great achievement in the sugar industry, the actual state of the property left much to be desired.

Ever ambitious however, the Sauniers plan to revitalize their business and usher themselves back into the throngs of gentle society. Working tooth and nail, almost never literally, to achieve their lofty goals.
