This thread will aim to tackle commonplay troubleshooting issues that you may run in to while trying to connect to South Tahoma Roleplay. These issues may be to do with our server; or with RedM as a whole.

I CAN'T CONNECT TO THE SERVER

Spoiler
  1. If you are not whitelisted or have no idea what a whitelist is, follow the steps HERE.

  2. Make sure you have the L4pP8Me.png role. If you do not, seek help in the Discord for an accepted application.

  3. You can attempt to direct connect to the server by pressing F8 and copy and pasting:
    connect cfx.re/join/8qax54

  4. Make sure your RedM is linked to your Discord Account. More information HERE.

  5. Verify the integrity of your game files through either Steam or Rockstar Games Launcher.
  6. If all else fails, attempt connection through a VPN.

I CAN'T SEE ANY MENUS OR USER INTERFACES

Spoiler
  1. Check your monitor resolution versus your in-game resolution, play around with them some to see if that populates the menus.

  2. Launch RedM, and hit the settings cog in the corner.

MY GAME IS STUCK IN AN INFINITE LOADING SCREEN

Spoiler
  1. Make sure that STEAM is open in the background. This is regardless of where you own Red Dead Redemption 2.

  2. Make sure you have played either Red Dead Online or the Story Mode for 15-20 minutes to ensure the game database is properly installed.

  3. Certain applications like OBS, TeamSpeak or MedalTV can interfere. Close them to see if this fixes your issue; and then you can reopen them once you're in.

  4. You can press F8 and type quit to close RedM. Open your task manager and find all the processes called "Runetime Broken" or anything else related to RedM and terminate them before retrying.

  5. Clear your RedM cache. Right click on the RedM shortcut and click open file location. Find the RedM Application Data folder, access Data and delete the Cache folder and retry.
