SECOND CHANCES After facing setbacks in their pursuit of building a clinic in Blackwater, fate smiled upon them in the form of Sheriff Earl Prescott, who graciously offered them the abandoned clinic in Rhodes. The Scarlett Meadows Community Clinic emerges as a new sanctuary for the health and well-being of the local community. Formerly an underutilized space, this clinic stands as a manifestation of the shared dreams of its founders, Dra. Rebecca Barkhousen and Dr. Carlo Amadeo. Once a neglected facility, the clinic is now a vibrant hub for healthcare services, catering to both the human and animal members of the community. The notable personalities in Rhodes, namely Joseph Richards, along with Earl Prescott and his office, rallied together to create an establishment that carried their own set of aspirations and a willingness to restore glory to the once bustling town of Rhodes. And thus, it became the driving force behind the clinic's revival. Open for business and continuously expanding its services, the clinic welcomes individuals who share the same passion for healthcare and community welfare. With a focus on holistic well-being and a spirit of inclusivity, the Scarlett Meadows Community Clinic aims to establish itself as a vital pillar in providing the proper healthcare not just in Lemoyne, but all of Tahoma.

Discord ID/User: daelindwin Suggestion Outline: There are number issues with healing and medical items that need to be addressed. The best way to do this would be to rework the system entirely. Fundamentals of Healing RDR2's health system uses both a Health Bar and a Health Core to determine a character's health. If your health bar is depleted, your Health Core determines how quickly your health will regenerate. Food and Drink Food and Drink currently restore both your Health Core and Health Bar. This makes a number of medical items essentially useless. My suggestion would be to change it so Food and Drink only restore your Health Core. Bandages Bandages restore a players Health Bar to full. Due to food and drink also restoring health, and bandages actually being quite expensive, they are basically useless right now. My suggestion would be to change bandages to have multiple uses, say 3-5, before being consumed, similar to other medical items. Medicine Medicine typically restores your Health bar or Stamina bar, while granting "Golden" Bars or Cores for Health or Stamina for a set amount of time. A Gold Core means your respective Health or Stamina will regenerate faster. While a Gold Bar means you have an additional amount of the given bar. For Health, this essentially means you can take an extra bullet in a fight before it is depleted, while for Stamina it means you can sprint for slightly longer. The actual effects of medicine are slightly nebulous, and I hesitate to reveal them here for fear of creating a meta. But currently most grant an effect for less than 60 seconds, making them largely useless, with a few exceptions. Here would be my suggestions for how to rework them: * Indicates new items. I have tried to make items last longer, but be more limited in their effects. Higher tier items require more resources to make and thus more expensive. Tier 1 Anti-fever (Rename to Health Tonic): Restore Health + Stamina, Gold Health Bar + Stamina Bar for 30 seconds - 1 Use Opium: Restore Health + Stamina Core, Gold Health + Stamina Core for 60 seconds - 1 Use Tier 2 Laudanum: Restore Health, Gold Health Bar for 90 seconds - 2 Uses *Cocaine Powder: Restore Stamina, Gold Stamina Bar for 90 Seconds - 2 Uses Heroin: Restore Health + Stamina Core, Gold Health Core + Stamina Core for 90 seconds - 2 Uses Tier 3 Elixir of Life: Restore health, Gold Health Bar + Core for 120 seconds - 3 Uses Cocaine: Restore stamina, Gold Stamina Bar + Core for 120 seconds - 3 Uses Negative Effects Currently, all medical items restore your Hunger and Thirst to differing degrees. This means there are no negative consequences to using drugs. On RDRP, using medical items depleted your Hunger and Thirst depending on the item used. If balance of these items is a concern, reintroducing something like this may add to the "cost" of their use and discourage spamming. What script/development support will it require?: - Rewriting of medical, food and drink effects - Adding new medical items - Modifying recipes for medical items in some cases Why will it benefit South Tahoma Roleplay?: - Makes medical items actually useful - Enhances utility of Doctors - Encourages the economy around the creation of medical items - Makes healing in combat harder and more costly
