  1. change it back to the original system, this one sucks
  2. The format will be released on the 6th, and you'll have 14 days to put together an application. We will not be rushing into any decision about who will be in charge of any group. The prolonged period of consideration is to allow all players the time to seriously review the application and put together a strong case why they should be in charge.
  3. You're calling for the servers tacked-on survival/crafting mechanics to be more challenging in order to force people to engage with the system more often. I am opposed to that. My character isn't a labourer, and as such does not have access to an easy stream of infinite wealth to pay for these money-sinks. Is it suddenly more 'immersive' for my character to go against his current profession and ride around hunting animals or hitting rocks with a pickaxe? I don't think so, personally. Text-based roleplay is naturally a slow process, especially around slow typers. It doesn't strike me as 'immersive' either to break off from conversation for the contrivance of filling up a RPG needs bar. Pass.
  4. I don't do any sort of script-grind on my current character and I can barely afford shit. If things seem "half-baked" or easy-street to you, maybe just slow down and find some roleplay rather than grinding.
  5. the only things that player fences can even sell to the script are things that criminals generate through grave robbery or post office robberies. these are also the sorts of items given out during heists for that very reason.
  6. The reason the price on them is so comparatively low when they're a valuable commodity IRL stems largely from a (mostly-true) meme, where high society Saint Denis characters couldn't resist the allure of taking a hunting cart out and making hundreds of dollars an hour by circling the bayou, killing alligators that do not fight back and always spawn back in the exact same position. It was a purely mechanical change because they really incentivised huntmaxxing from money-hungry players. I mean this to say they were nerfed into their current place with good reason.
  7. https://forum.cfx.re/t/free-monkey-ped/5268158 Think of all the fun we could have if the server had monkeys. Monkey business, circus shows, admin monkey events. @Bill please add the monkey PED. Thanks to @Faledak for making this known to me
  8. any tax you place on haycubes to try and incentivise interaction with vets is purely a tax on newer players, who are both A) more likely to travel around to see all the cool shit in tahoma and B) less able to pay for haycubes. locking things behind interacting with seldom-played whitelists elevates these people sure, but it also results in a headache for literally everyone else. "sorry gang, we can't hunt the outlaws, I gotta go see the vet so I can feed my horse john" - statements dreamt up by the deluded
  9. when the hard reset comes, all characters, horses and wagons will be purged in a great fire
  10. poll your entire staff about major decisions... not just faction management
