  1. I love the idea of this but I don't know that there are any objects that could be used beyond like a tiny little mapped object - though I'd not like it to be an item and more done through a mapping application process (ideally for official factions) Otherwise, camp props can work pretty well for temp fixes and set-ups.
  2. This is meant to be a not-so-quick and probably confusing as hell guide into the secret world of mix-match fashion and Cowboy Barbie Dressup through the various outfit systems we have in place on the server. Even if I broke everything down Barney style, it'll still sound absolutely unhinged. And maybe it just is. So without further delay: COMMANDS: You'll be using many of these commands so best to get yourself used to them: /outfits [There are many different outfit commands here and ill try to list most of them] /outfitsdresses /outfitsfemale /outfitsponchos /outfitsdoctor /outfitsnatives /rc - used to 'save' an item onto your character, while reloading and removing ones that aren't useable /tuck - this applies all your colors from your BASE OUTFIT onto your mix-matched one, giving a unified and cohesive look /sleeves2 - this can also help to apply colors. Toggling these commands to reload items onto your character - you have to do them twice, sometimes 3-4 times. I'll write it as /shirt /shirt, /skirt /skirt, /coat /coat, /hat /hat, etc etc. /togglehair [enable/disable] - you will need to remove your custom hair to avoid the dreaded white-bangs bug with some of the bonnets/hats/etc. Default until you're done browsing. /womanhair (to change your hairstyle to combat clipping) if you have a haircolor you're scared of losing ...well I'm very sorry. Write that shit down always always always. - having your #s saved somewhere lets you reload hairstyles and change often. THE PREMISE: In order to mix-match and take pieces from the various /outfits menus, you first need to have an outfit saved and currently in use using the items from the outfits you want to save to your character's overall look. The idea is you're going to be using the /rc command to essentially save a piece of clothing from the /outfits menus to your character's outfit - it'll temporarily override what you have and it goes away if you save over with something else, log out/crash, or do anything that auto-reloads your character's original outfit. As an example, this is the base outfit I'll be using. You can dye them before hand if you're confident of the dye channels - and you can dye it all later too. For simplicity's sake I have mine already dyed ahead of time and will be using that color scheme in my examples. NOTE: This works on low-class outfits too, not just high-society vibes. So feel free to experiment and find a suitable aesthetic for your character! STRATEGY: First and foremost - familiarize yourself with the outfits in the menus and understand some of their fundamentals. There are just some outfits that you can't recolor. There are some outfits that can't have certain pieces separated. We cry and we move on. Before truly embarking on this adventure - remove your custom hair when you browse. This is done through /togglehair disable. If you dont use the /womanhair then you're set and can ignore that. Next, find pieces you want, which does require some planning/thinking. When you see an item in the outfit menu and you want to see if it can be colored, load the whole outfit up and then try it with /tuck - immediately, if your stuff's dyed on your base outfit, the selected /outfits one will color to match your color channels you have. Some articles may not color. So as an example, let's start with finding a skirt. Use the /outfits menu and find a skirt you want through the outfits. I'll go ahead and use the skirt from /outfitsdresses > part 7 > #82. Except that coat is fugly and makes me fat. I want my original coat. I'd load dress 82 - do /coat to remove the outfits coat, do /coat again to load MY coat - and then /rc I should look like this: Now keeping in mind that this menu outfit has no vest, we can reliably /rc here. and it will apply the skirt to your base outfit - and update its colors to your base colors. Shirts don't save thru /rc reliably so if you want a shirt, and if done last, you would not do a final /rc. Since we've done /rc here, it's reverted back to my original shirt. If you DO have a shirt that keeps saving from the outfit menu, you'll need to load your original outfit, start over and remember to just toggle your base shirt back on. So what next? I don't like that hat. We'll find another one, in the /outfitsfemale menu. Outfitsfemale > tumbleweed > #03. Don't use the /rc command until you've removed all the pieces you DONT want saved. Instead, toggle each undesirable article until you've replaced them with yours. So do /coat /coat, /skirt /skirt, etc until you've isolated the pieces and the ones from your outfit are visible. - This includes the skirt we just stole from /outfitsdresses. It's currently saved for us so we can toggle that too and it will reload it. For me , all I want is the hat so I've toggled off the shirt, the skirt. put on my coat and vest, and finally used /rc. If you want just a shirt or maybe earrings, etc from the outfitmenu, just do the those very last. Shirts can't be used with /sleeves or /sleeves2, and they will clip through coats. Instead of using /rc at the end, you'd simply /tuck. Lastly - you can dye your newly found outfit in the clothing store if you enter the tailor wearing it, and browse through colors. If you change your default clothing options and find you've lost your precious pieces, toggle them back while in the store menu to display them again via /shirt /shirt, /coat /coat, /hat /hat, /skirt /skirt, etc etc etc etc.... Comfortably browse colors while in the store menu - it will apply the dye to your base item. HELPFUL TIDBITS: If you find a ped that has a hat you like, you can knock it off, put it on, and do /tuck to dye it. Don't get caught... Some vests don't allow your skirt to change - simply toggle off your vest and reload your skirt, this can sometimes work. Be sure you do this before you /rc if this is your problem. /outfitsponchos may help you remove /shawls/scarves if they don't toggle off through /neckwear - outfitsdoctors has shawls that are removed this way. Having an exported outfit in your inventory can help a bit if you've messed up and accidentally saved some ugly ass coat or item to your outfit. Housing and society outfit menus do NOT load your custom colors - clothing store menu and export items I believe are the only 2. I could be wrong. I found it easiest to use the same color pallet across all my items to easily dye them. Different styles of the same item may have different dye channels - play around and find what you like. Keep a list of the menu items you like so you can easily pick them out. If you find yourself dyeing an outfit in the store and you can't save it due to not spending money, change something like a ring or shoes in order to allow you to save in the store. Don't forget to fix your hair. Men can probably use some of this too just stay out of our clothes. Lastly - design shit responsibly. Don't make yourself an RPQM problem! Look up other guides on fashion, or do a quick google search of what sort of styles and colors were fashionable or easily produced. Feel free to leave any tips/tricks you find. I will likely update and edit this if I learn more or need to clean it up.

    Ban ERP

My personal reasons I advocate to ban ERP: 1) Sitting in an interior for hours on end takes away from the already limited population. You can argue that it will help bolster numbers on the front page, but that does nothing if people come to play on a populated server only to find no one. 2) You don't know who is behind the screen - more pointedly, underage people can lie about their age. (this is actually #1 but I like to bait with reason #1)
  5. -1 No. And the main reason is that alligators are incredibly easy to kill, and bountiful at that. There's no real hunting involved given they just stay there standing until they're shot at, and they already drop big game meat which is profitable. We used to have the prices higher and it did nothing except it saw a mass of hunters driving around max-speed in their lime green hunting wagons through the swamp shooting alligators and loading pelts. Below's a screenshot from awhile back - these are all alligators I killed one after another in the area. Imagine how much money that would be if you raised the prices? It's too much.
  6. Henrietta Saunier is chubby and is just getting fatter and fatter, and unfortunately sweats a lot.
